Dr Gert van Staden graduated as a dentist at the University of Pretoria  in 1990. After completing his National service at SANDF, he practiced in London England for 4 years before returning to the Western Cape, and more specifically Malmesbury in 1995.

Having an interest in all avenues of dentistry he did a 2 year course in Orthodontics in England and an inhalation sedation course at Guys Hospital in London. After returning to South Africa he did a 2 year post graduation diploma in Endodontics at Stellenbosch University and followed that up with a 2 year Post graduation diploma in conscious sedation and pain control.

Dr van Staden has a passion for Dentistry and believes that the patient always comes first.

In his free time he is a garagista (wine maker) , logbuilder , woodworker and loves any form of exercise.

 

Dr Nicolas Bosman graduated as a dentist at the University of the Western Cape  in 2014. After completing his community service year, he practiced in Johannesburg for 5 years before returning to the Western Cape, and more specifically Malmesbury in 2021.

While studying he developed a keen interest in the Orthodontic speciality as well as Endodontics and is currently enrolled in postgraduate diplomas in both Orthodontics and Endodontics, which he will complete in 2025. He has also developed an interest in Implantology over the last 4 years and has done multiple courses to improve his work and develop his skills in his fields of interest.

He has a great love for surfing, hiking, spending time in nature with friends and enjoying a good bottle of wine over dinner.

Gerda, originally from the North West province, graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in June 2000, earning medals for Restorative Dentistry and Endodontic Dentistry. She obtained a postgraduate diploma in Implantology from the University of the Western Cape in 2005.

After completing her community dentistry service, she joined Dr. Gert van Staden's surgery in Malmesbury in 2001. Since 2006, she has been working full-time in Darling, where she enjoys treating patients across various dental modalities, including oral hygiene, restorative work, crown and bridge procedures, prosthetics, aesthetic treatments, minor surgical procedures, and implant placement and restoration. 

In 2016, she expanded her scope to include aesthetic medicine, receiving training in Botox treatments, dermal filler placement, bio-stimulation treatments, and chemical peels. Gerda regularly attends courses to stay updated with the latest trends.

When not treating patients, you can likely find her in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes.

​Dr Suzaan Jansen graduated as a dentist at the University of the Western Cape in 2023. Originating from Robertson she has a love for the Western Cape country side and completed her community service year right here in Malmesbury. ​

While doing her community service year she completed multiple courses in advanced dentistry, including implantology, digital dentistry, endodontics and facial aesthetics. She specifically has an interest in facial aesthetics and believes in treating the entire face and not just teeth when it comes to aesthetics. She is a calm person and enjoys making patients feel comfortable and relaxed and tries to create an environment where all patients have a wonderful experience.

She loves running, hiking and being in nature in general and won't easily miss an opportunity to go for a parkrun.

Mrs Elsje Walters graduated as an Oral Hygienist at the University of Stellenbosch in 1997, after which she started working at Complete Dental.

Mrs Walters assists Dr Van Staden with his orthodontics and has a great love for the Orthodontic field. She is a very kind and friendly person and always tries to make one feel as comfortable as possible.

She loves the farm life, animals and ultimately working with people.
